New Mexico Elk Hunts
Hunting for New Mexico Elk offers a great variety of terrain ranging from aspens and spruce meadows down to juniper and pinon flats. All of our New Mexico elk hunts are guided by experienced guides who specialize in locating and field judging big bulls. Most of our New Mexico Elk hunts are in a range from 7,500 to 12,000 feet in elevation, with mild daytime temperatures.
The mornings and evenings may drop down into cold temperatures, hunters should plan and prepare for these extreme changes in temperature, as well as the effects of high elevations on the body, and come prepared with proper clothing. To have the most enjoyable and successful New Mexico Elk hunting experience we encourage our hunters to come physically prepared. Our archery elk hunts start in September, our muzzleloader hunts and riffle hunts run in October with some late season bull and cow hunts running in November and December. They are five day hunts drawn through the State of New Mexico draw system, and are fully outfitted we also provide drop camps. We also provide land owners tags for our unsuccessful draw applicants. This assures that you will hunt Elk with La Jóya Outfitters. For pricing and information contact Mike Córdova at:
